This is a pre world war two Houmongi kimono from Japan.
It's made of silk, dyed and sewn all by hand.
The lining has the typical red, pink and yellow color that was often used during that era, and the pattern is as many kimonos where at the time very art deco inspired. it's in over all very good condition for it's age. You can see in parts of the lining that it's been loved and carefully repaired. Which I personally think makes it even more special.
The kimono will fit most sizes, it's a bit long so you might need heels or a good pair of wedges so that you won't drag it on the ground.
It's obviously a piece of art, some people like to hang them on the wall. Personally I like to wear mine and i think you can combine them with pretty much anything, it's up to you to experiment and make it your own!
